Below the photos of the headlight (model PYLE) that will be powered by turbo-generator.

And fitted to the front plate.
The groups of cylinders, front and rear have stainless steel liners. The front group is fitted with a spherical joint on the exhaust pipe.
Some months and 600 rivets later and the cab is nearing completion. The front windows open and the side ones have three sliding doors. The roof is partially removable and the two rear doors can be opened to give access to the cab controls.
Controls are all accessible.
The reversing gear is controlled by air from the cab.
Next it is the tender. Here is the general design plus the detail of the front bogie.
The bogie allows for both rotation and side movement. All the axles are fitted with leaf spring suspension, with length compensation. Each is equipped with its own air cylinder for braking.
The tender chassis performed well on a track test..
