BRILLIANT BRISTOL

As ever the Bristol Model Engineering & Hobbies Exhibition 2009 at the Thornbury Centre was right out of the top drawer. This year was the centenary of the hosts, the Bristol Society of Model and Experimental Engineers, with a special display of some historical highlights to suit the occasion. As usual there was a great display of models from individuals and clubs. The trade was also well represented with 36 stands selling just about anything you wanted, from a single drill to a brand new Myford. Whatever your particular interest, from locomotives to church bells, there is something at Bristol for you. Here are just some examples of what was on display.
