Making the ‘Greek’ column in three pieces plus a tube for the jacket and the ignition system from a gas lighter.

With
the engine is finished and assembled, obviously it did not run the first time.

The rack did not go up high enough.

Getting the engine running well took a lot of experimentation with gases, oxygen and sparking plugs. It runs now without an oxygen supply and with a sparking plug without a ground electrode which creates an arc rather than a spark.
