Carolyn Fisher’s husband is a model engineer. He has built a traction engine, boat and a saw bench. Carolyn decided to build a model of the place where he spent all his time, perhaps so that he could stay in touch with it while indoors. And what a cracking model it is. Built to a scale of 1:12, the detail is a delight, and everything is completed to the highest standards. ‘Hubby’s Shed’ was photographed at the 2009 International Model Engineering and Modelling Exhibition, or ‘Harrogate’ as it is generally known.
