One of the highlights at the 2010 Sandown Park exhibition was the superb Gold Medal winning compound marine steam engine by James Lauder based on the Arthur Leake design. No mere model, this fine and powerful engine, with condenser, is due to be fitted into a launch of around 30 feet length. Truly a family heirloom in the making.
