LADY STEPHANIE ESTATE ENGINE
John Cogden

Anthony Mount

Tubal Cain was one of the great designers of model steam engines, and one of his most popular was Lady Stephanie, a pumping beam engine. The design was first published in Engineering in Miniature in the early 1980s. Drawings and castings are available, and it has also been built using fabrications rather than castings. The fine example shown here was by John Cogden.

Julius de Waal has revisited the design with scaled up metric and imperial drawings for a fabricated model.
