LATEST DUESENBERG PROJECT
By Gerald Wingrove

Latest project in the Wingrove workshop is a 1932  Rollston Convertible Victoria J Duesenberg. It follows another Duesenberg, the 1933 Tourster ‘J’ (above).

The build follows my normal practice of hard wood body pattern, with the .018” thick copper and brass sheet being hammer worked over it.  The louvered hood sides were made with the aid of the Louvre Press and a modified table to cut the curved louvres.

The chassis and engine are of the standard long chassis, and ‘J’ Duesenberg engine. All disassembled here ready for painting and chrome plating.
